High numbers of car enthusiasts prefer to wrap their cars in vinyl film instead of repainting it, for multiple reasons. What vinyl film wrapping realty means is:
• Giving your car a new life.
• Protection of the original car paint from any physical damage.
• Top service: modern materials and latest installation technologies cause no damage to the paint during the installation process of a vinyl wrap on a vehicle or during its removal.

In addition to a wide range of colors, film makers also offer a variety of finishes from: glossy, matt, rough, sparkling, chrome-plated. Our vinyl wrap will give your car a unique and catchy look, while our experienced installers will perfectly match the vinyl film wrap to the exact specifics of your car , meeting your personal needs and preferences.

Cars are the most commonly wrapped types of vehicles. And that’s simply because cars are the most common type of vehicle. Generally seen as a way to get from point A to point B cars can also be used to showcase to the world your unique personality. You can use your car as your own personal art board and send a message to the thousands of people who see it every day.

Benefits Of Wrapping Your Car
The most obvious benefit for a car wrap is the cost savings. Wrapping a car as opposed to a professional paint job can save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars. And that doesn’t even factor in the long term benefits. Preserving the original paint job of a car is hard to do due to road debris and the amount of miles that a car generally travels in its lifetime. Not to mention different local elements that come into place such as extreme heat and sun as well as storms. But if your car is wrapped it has an extra layer of protection added to keep the original paint looking brand new.

Vinyl wrap also helps you to make your car look unique and original. Car manufacturers give you a few colors to choose from, but it’s nothing in comparison to the options that vinyl wrap can provide. You can wrap your entire car in carbon fiber for pennies compared to the price of a vehicle made of carbon fiber. You can get even more original and incorporate custom graphics on your vehicle as well. If you have a really specific color in mind but the manufacturer doesn’t produce the car in that color you can simply contact a vinyl wrap shop and have them find the closest match to your desired color. Regardless of the vision you have, vinyl wrap can handle it.

The Process
The process of wrapping a car is pretty straightforward. Your vinyl wrap expert will work with you to understand your vision and lay out some options for you. When everything is agreed upon you will drop the vehicle off and you won’t be able to use it for at least a few days. The car will be disassembled so that the vinyl wrap can adhere to the back of every panel making sure that it won’t peel up. If vinyl is applied without disassembling the vehicle there is a strong chance that the shop you brought it to doesn’t know what they are doing. You should always be wary of any fly by night wrappers who give you a turnaround time of under 48 hours for a full car wrap.

Before wrapping, the car is prepped by using a clay bar to remove any dirt or wax that is currently on the paint. Having a clean surface ensures that the vinyl will stick effectively and not lose it’s grip over time. Like most things, proper prep is key for a good wrap, and anyone working in a dirty environment is risking a lot of hard work just to be lazy.

During the application process, vinyl is generally applied one panel at a time. Individuals or small teams take care to work out any bubbles or abnormalities in the vinyl with the use of special tools. Heat is used to make the vinyl temporarily more pliable and ensures that it adheres to curved surfaces without issue. The exception here is certain finishes that can be damaged from heat, such as chrome vinyl.

When cutting the vinyl to form the vehicle, any specialist will have their preference of knifeless tape which works as a tape that is applied before the vinyl is placed on the vehicle. The tape then cuts upwards upon removal ensuring a clean line without the use of a knife on your vehicles paint. When looking for a vinyl wrap shop you should always be sure to confirm that they use knifeless tape to make cuts in the vinyl.

After the panel is completed the piece is baked with heat, generally through the use of a heat lamp. This ensures that the glue adheres as strongly as possible to the paint and also serves as a way to troubleshoot any problems. While heat is very effective at activating the glue, it is equally as effective at forcing vinyl to unstick itself, which serves as a way to identify areas where it may not have been applied properly.

Finally, when the whole car has been wrapped, it is then reassembled exactly as it was received. With all the panels securely fastened to the car, your vinyl wrap shop will go over the entire vehicle to make sure that nothing was missed or peeling up. You will then get a call or text letting you know that your car is ready to be picked up. When you arrive, be sure to carefully go over the car and point out any problems you see. Once the car leaves the shop it’s impossible for anyone to know if the vinyl was deformed from something on the road, or was an error in the actual application. This is your final chance to highlight any problems in the work performed, so be thorough.

How Long Does A Car Wrap Last?
This is one of our favorite questions, as it’s so subjective to you and your use of the car. Some cars sit in a temperature controlled environment for most of their lives, only going out for an hour or two on the weekend in nice weather. Those wraps last a lot longer than your daily driver that’s parked in the driveway subject to the elements.

As a general rule of thumb, a proper wrap should last around 5 years, but this can vary tremendously. After the first two years the vinyl will start to fade if it’s out in the sun often. You will begin to see chips and tears on the front bumper. It’s a great thing to see, because at least you know you protected the paint from those marks and scratches.  If any individual area is severely affected, you can simply have that panel rewrapped. That’s the real beauty of vinyl!
